Club training nights are every Wednesday.

During the winter, indoor training is from 19:00 until 22:00 at Kilwinning Academy, Dalry Road, Kilwinning.

Target Nights

Once a month, the indoor session will feature a target night. Those who wish to take part will be given the chance to shoot and score a Portsmouth round (5 doz. arrows @ 20 yds.). Training for beginners will usually be unavailable on these nights. Target nights are planned for: Wed. 18th January and Wed. 15th February.

Ayrshire League

The Ayrshire League is a friendly shoot to suit archers of all abilities, and designed to encourage beginners to compete in a non-intimidatory informal setting.

The next round of the Ayrshire League will be hosted by Clyde Arrows on Sunday 12th February at Carrick Academy, Maybole from 12 noon. Members wishing to compete, please inform the club secretary by Wed. 8th Feb. at the latest.

Members please note, that for insurance purposes, you must be affiliated to the SAA to compete in this league.

Council Meetings

A Council Meeting of The Ancient Society of Kilwinning Archers took place on Thursday 3rd of November 2011.

Breaking News

Our grant from Awards for All Scotland has allowed us to install a backstop net at Greenwood Academy. We will start using the facility once a let can be arranged.

Indoor training at Kilwinning Academy cannot take place on the following dates as the games hall is being used for exams: Wed. 25th Jan., Wed. 1st Feb. 2012.
