A warm welcome to all from The Ancient Society of Kilwinning Archers.
We now have two training sessions per week.
Outdoor training is every Wednesday (weather permitting) at McGavin Park, Kilwinning from 7:30 pm, and indoors at Greenwood Academy, Dreghorn from 7:30 pm until 10:00 pm every Thursday.

Target Nights
Once a month, the indoor session will feature a target night. Those who wish to take part will be given the chance to shoot and score a Portsmouth round (5 doz. arrows @ 20 yds.). Training for beginners will usually be unavailable on these nights.
Wednesday 4th April 2012 was the last night for Indoor training at Kilwinning Academy. Wednesday outdoor sessions across the road at McGavin Park will start the following week. Club Membership
ASKA membership subscriptions are due for payment by the 28th of May from existing members and new members wishing to use the club facilities over the summer months.
Fees for 2012-2013 are: - Adult member £25 - Junior member £12.50 - Country member £12.50.
Can you please pay these to Eileen Bilby (Treasurer) as soon as possible.
Annual Open Tournament
The Annual Open Tournament of the Society will take place on the Castle Lawn of Eglinton Park, Kilwinning on Sunday 3rd June 2012, with sighters at 09:45am.
An entry form can be downloaded from the events calendar of the SAA website or from here .
The closing date for receipt of entry forms is Friday 25th May 2012.
Would all previous trophy winners please return them on or before the day of the tournament.
Council Meetings
A Council Meeting of The Ancient Society of Kilwinning Archers took place on Thursday 16th of February 2012.
The date for the first meeting of the new Council will be published here.
Any members who would like a copy of the minutes of these meetings should contact the club secretary.
Breaking News
Our grant from Awards for All Scotland has allowed us to set up a new indoor training venue at Greenwood Academy. We now have a booking every Thursday from 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm. See the news page for pictures of the first session.
Members wishing to take part in the clubs Opening Shoot on Sunday 22nd April should meet in McGavin Park at 10:00 am. The round shot will be a National for seniors and an age appropriate round for juniors. Juniors will also be competing for the Scollon Trophy, postponed from last year.
Here you can download a copy of the menu for the Captaincy dinner on Saturday 9th June. Can all members wishing to attend please contact Eileen Bilby, before Thursday 17th May. The cost is £19 per head.
Volunteers are needed for the field party at our Annual Open Shoot at Eglinton Park. Please inform the secretary if you can help out on the day.
